Student Employment Opportunities

Draper Laboratory employs students in nearly all of our offices around the country. This can include Co-op employment and programs, part-time employment during the academic year, and full-time employment during school breaks.

High School Student Biomedical Summer Internship

  • If you are a high school student entering your junior or senior year, and Cambridge, Mass. resident, you may be eligible to participate in Draper’s High School Student Biomedical Summer Internship.  Please contact Ellen Avery at eavery@draper.com for more information.

The Draper Laboratory Scholar Program (DLSP)

In summer of 2010, we are introducing the Draper Lab Scholar Program for a very limited number (10-20) of students from around the country:

  • Formal 10 week paid Internship program (June 7-August 13, 2010) at our Cambridge location that aims to prepare students for either Graduate School or post-graduate employment, and provide you with a great overall summer experience.

  • Each position is designed to expose participants to a research and development environment, with hands-on contributions and varying amounts of independent projects and research.

  • In addition, the program will include a variety of group activities such as tours and workshops.

  • Program is for Rising Sophomores-Seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

  • Projects will be tailored to the students selected for the program. Examples of the types of projects students have worked in the past can be found here.

  • Students must apply by February 22, 2010
