Education Overview

When the MIT Instrumentation Laboratory became the independent Draper Laboratory in the early 1970’s, our commitment to advanced technical education remained a core part of our charter.


Our current education programs include:

• The Draper Lab Fellow (DLF) program for graduate students

• Several student employment and internship opportunities

• On-campus research funding through our University Research and Development (URAD) program
